
Chandrapur, March 28 Students from an institute in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, formed a large human formation of a "peace sign" on Saturday, claiming to set a new world record.
Swapnil Dangarikar, the Maharashtra representative for Guinness World Records, was present at the event.
The "largest" human image of the peace sign was created by 1,381 students from Somayya Group of Institutions, run by the Maharashtra Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, according to organizers.
The students gathered to "break the Guinness World Record" at a time when a conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran is escalating, they said.
