A solemn and dignified ceremony was held in Jammu to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the martyrdom of Tushar Mahajan. The event was organized by the Shaheed Tushar Mahajan Trust and took place at a Women's Degree College in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The program was attended by senior retired military officers, dignitaries, and the families of the martyrs from various parts of the country, particularly Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
Heartfelt tributes were paid to the brave soldiers who gave their lives in service to the nation. The families of the martyrs were honored as a gesture of respect and gratitude. Speakers recounted stories of courage and sacrifice, highlighting the unwavering dedication of the nation's heroes.
Speaking to Akashvani Jammu, the father of Captain Tushar Mahajan expressed pride in his son's dedication and bravery, stating that he sacrificed his life in service to the nation.
It is worth noting that Captain Tushar Mahajan made the ultimate sacrifice in 2016 during a counter-terrorism operation while defending the nation.
A large number of local residents also attended the program, making it a deeply emotional and patriotic gathering dedicated to the memory of the martyrs.
