Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed his self-enumeration for the 2027 Census. In a social media post, Mr. Modi stated that this is the first time data collection is being conducted through digital means. He added that self-enumeration also empowers citizens to collect information about their household details themselves. The Prime Minister also appealed to citizens to collect their household details themselves and participate in the Census process. He said that April 1 marks the beginning of the first phase of the 2027 Census, which relates to house listing and housing operations.
