MLA Aga Muntazir Mehdi inspects the construction work of the 225-bedded Mega Hospital at Reshipora, Budgam and directs officials to accelerate the work for timely completion and better healthcare services.
February 24, Budgam: Aga Muntazir Mehdi today visited the under-construction New Hospital Complex at Reshipora in the Budgam district, where a 125-bedded District Hospital and a 100-bedded Critical Care Hospital are being established to strengthen healthcare infrastructure.
During the visit, the MLA reviewed the ongoing construction works and assessed the overall physical progress of the project. He instructed the concerned departments to expedite the execution and ensure that the hospital project is completed on a fast-track basis.
The MLA emphasized that the timely completion of the mega hospital will significantly enhance healthcare delivery in the district by providing advanced medical treatment and critical care facilities closer to the people. He added that modern and technology-driven health services are essential to meet the growing medical needs of the population.
The visit was attended by the Chief Medical Officer Budgam, Executive Engineer R&B, along with other concerned officials, who briefed the MLA about the status of the work and assured him of improved coordination to achieve early completion.
