The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has signed an agreement with MapmyIndia to enable the display of authorized Aadhaar centers on their Mappls App. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has stated that this facility will be available in the coming months. It will help people locate the nearest authorized Aadhaar centers and check available services, based on the type of services offered, such as adult enrollment, child enrollment, or simply address and mobile updates. The Ministry added that once the feature is operational, users' searches on the Mappls App will be directed to authorized Aadhaar centers. Additionally, MapmyIndia will integrate UIDAI-provided Aadhaar center information into the Mappls platform to ensure accurate representation, digital mapping, and a distinct listing of Aadhaar centers.
