Shimla, March 22 Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia arrived in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on Sunday, stating that the people have lost faith in both the Congress and the BJP, and that the 'AAP' model is now the only hope for the state.
Addressing party workers during a convention organized in Mandi, he said that the party will gain the trust and support of the people of Himachal Pradesh, and the party will work towards a better healthcare, education, and development model in the state.
"Over the past four years, the Congress government has pushed Himachal back by decades – schools and hospitals are not functioning properly, and the government is even unable to pay its employees' salaries," Sisodia later said on X.
"Now, leaders and volunteers of the Aam Aadmi Party in Himachal will go door-to-door, carrying the vision of honest and transformative politics, and will write a new chapter in Himachal's history," he added.
Elections to the 68 seats in the state Assembly are due in the latter half of 2027.
The AAP has never won a seat in either the Lok Sabha or state Assembly elections.
