
Chennai, February 21 Actress Kayadu Lohar, who made her debut in Tamil cinema with director Ashwath Marimuthu’s blockbuster film ‘Dragon’, has now penned a note of gratitude on the occasion of the film completing one year.
Taking to her Instagram page to post pictures of herself on the film’s set, she wrote, "Dragon turns 1 today! This is where it all began. Thank you for giving me a place in your hearts and for welcoming me so warmly. Pallavi will always be special. Thank you and congratulations @ashwathmarimuthu @pradeepranganathan @archanakalpathi @agsentertainment."
The film was a huge success when it was released last year. It not only made a lot of money and became a major blockbuster, but it also garnered a lot of love and admiration from the audience for all the actors in the film. In fact, Kayadu Lohar was deeply touched by the love she received from the audience.
Overwhelmed by the appreciation she was receiving, the actress posted a message thanking all her fans and asking how she could repay their kindness.
"My timeline is filled with so much appreciation and praise! I can't reply to everyone, but thank you so much for your love, guys. What can I do to repay this kindness? One thing I'm sure of—I will act in many great films for you all #Dragon," she wrote on her X timeline.
"Dragon," which was already declared a success even before its release due to its earnings from non-theatrical sources, had a very strong opening, collecting 50 crores in just three days.
The film was produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh. Pradeep Ranganathan, along with Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar, played the lead roles. The film's music was composed by Leon James, and the cinematography was by Niketh Bommi.
The film's editing was done by Pradeep E Ragav, and the stunts were choreographed by Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan. The story for the film was jointly written by Ashwath Marimuthu and Pradeep Ranganathan, while the dialogues and screenplay were written by Ashwath Marimuthu.
The film was co-directed by Ramesh Narayanan, and the costumes were designed by Dinesh Manoharan and Praveen Raja.
