Mumbai, March 13 Actor Gaurav Gera revealed on the recent episode of Wheel of Fortune how people were surprised to learn that he was playing the role of Mohammad Aalam, popularly known as the "Doodh Soda" seller in Dhurandhar.
While participating in the quiz reality show, Gaurav Gera recreated his iconic "Doodh Soda" scene from Dhurandhar, leaving the audience amazed.
Speaking about the popularity of his character, Gaurav shared, "Many people still don't recognize me because of the beard. They can't believe it's me!"
In response, Akshay Kumar jokingly said, "Carry a fake beard with you. When someone shows disbelief, put it on and prove it to them!"
The show, featuring Gaurav Gera, also included special guests Ayesha Khan and Rakesh Bedi, who joined host Akshay Kumar on the show.
The movie, "Dhurandhar," which was released in December 2025, became a box office success.
The film starred Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles. The sequel, titled "Dhurandhar 2," is set to release on March 19 this year.
Gaurav Gera rose to fame with his role in the superhit television show "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi," which also starred actress Mona Singh.
His portrayal of the lead actress's best friend won hearts.
