Mumbai, April 9 – Raghav Chadha hosted Sanjay Dutt at his home. The Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha member praised Sanjay Dutt's recent performance in the blockbuster film "Dhurandhar" and said that he always supports him.
Raghav shared pictures from Sanjay's visit on Instagram. The politician said that Sanjay is one of the "warmest" people he knows.
"I had the pleasure of hosting one of the warmest people I know, Sanjay Dutt, at my place some time ago," Raghav wrote in the caption, referring to his marriage to Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra.
He praised Sanjay's performance as SP Aslam in the film, directed by Aditya Dhar, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera, and Sara Arjun.
"It's great to see all the love for 'Dhurandhar'. Your aura remains the same, and people continue to admire you through every era. You truly deserve it! I'm always rooting for you!"
The first part of the duology was released in 2025. Titled "Dhurandhar," the film's plot focused on a covert counter-terrorism operation. It tells the story of an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi's criminal syndicates and political power structures in Pakistan in an effort to dismantle a terror network targeting India.
The second part, titled "Dhurandhar: The Revenge," was released in March and follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent who continues to infiltrate Karachi's criminal syndicates and Pakistani politics while avenging the 26/11 attacks and confronting bigger threats.
The film's storyline loosely draws inspiration from multiple real-life geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia, such as Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general election, the 2016 Indian banknote demonetisation, and various other events.
Meanwhile, Raghav married Parineeti in Rajasthan in 2023. They welcomed their first child, a son named Neer, in October 2025.
