Mumbai, March 25 Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is currently hosting the quiz reality show Wheel of Fortune, revealed that as soon as he finishes filming for the day's episode, he eagerly rushes back home to his daughter, Nitara.
"I always want to go to my daughter as soon as the show is over. I find a lot of happiness and enjoyment in spending time with her," said Akshay.
He added, "The more you find joy in small things, the more you will always feel young."
The actor spoke about his childhood days, recalling all the fond memories and happiness despite not being financially well-off.
Sharing a nostalgic memory from his childhood, he recalled that he lived in a small house with his father, mother, and brothers.
Despite the limited space, their home was always filled with happiness, as they would constantly play various games, such as Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, or carrom.
He then added, "My parents have always given me a lot of love, and I try to spend as much time with my children as possible."
On Wheel of Fortune, Akshay Kumar was joined by contestants Duksh, Stuti, and Mickey.
Duksh's mother, who was present on the set, warmly shared that she had often watched Akshay on television and always found him very likable. She added that seeing him in person made him seem even more charming.
Curious and admiring, she asked him about the secret behind staying so young.
Responding with his signature humour, Akshay revealed the secret behind his graceful ageing.
He said, "I always try to stay happy, I always try to have fun. I always enjoy being playful and joking around. That's why, even when I'm filming, I always find it enjoyable and fun."
He further added, "Another thing is, I like to sleep at the right time. I sleep for 8 hours. And I always prefer to work with people who are always positive, even if they don't have a lot of money."
Akshay Kumar has always promoted a healthy lifestyle and discipline. In many of his interviews and public events, the actor has always maintained that he chooses to sleep by 9:00 PM and wake up at 4:00 AM, he follows a disciplined diet and workout regime.
