Chennai, March 21 Actor, director, and producer Vishal has now congratulated actress Tamannaah on completing 21 years in the film industry, calling it "truly an inspiring achievement."
Taking to his Instagram page to write a post of appreciation for his co-star in director Sundar C's upcoming film 'Purushan', Vishal wrote, "Congratulations, darling Tamannaah, for completing 21 glorious years in Indian cinema as an actress/lead performer. It's a remarkable achievement. Wow. This is truly an inspiring achievement, Sweety. And you're still rocking on the silver screen."
He went on to say, "May you continue this wonderful journey and continue to captivate audiences everywhere. I'm proud to say that you are one of my closest friends in the film industry who hasn't changed at all since I first met you, and our friendship has lasted for the past 20 years. We've experienced it all together: success, failure, ups and downs. People have come and gone, but we remain the same like old school friends. Keep it up!"
He concluded the post by saying, "You're unstoppable, and it's always a pleasure working with you. I wish you continued success and positivity. God bless you."
Meanwhile, the unit of director Sundar C's 'Purushan', featuring actor Vishal in the lead, is scheduled to head to Kolkata for its next schedule after filming songs in Goa.
"The Kolkata schedule is likely to be around 20 days," a source close to the actor said.
It may be recalled that the makers of the film had announced the film's title in January this year on the occasion of director Sundar C's birthday.
Vishal had then posted on his X timeline, sharing a link to a promo of the film, "…wishing my darling brother a very, very happy and entertaining birthday."
The actor, who had called Sundar C his favourite director, added, "…I'm thrilled to start my next film, #Vishal36, titled #Purushan, with him for the fourth time, following the grand success of #MadhaGajaRaja!"
A title promo released by the makers showed Vishal playing the husband of Tamannaah in the film. The promo showed Tamannaah taking charge of the family, while Vishal appeared as a docile, subservient husband. The film, which will have music by Hip Hop Tamizha, will have cinematography by Gopi Amarnath and editing by Roger. The film is being produced by A C S Arun Kumar.
