
Mumbai, March 5 Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri has stated that her current show, "Happu Ki Ultan Paltan," will always hold a special place in her heart, despite her extensive 35-year career and over 200 films.
On Thursday, the actress announced the end of her seven-year journey on the popular television show "Happu Ki Ultan Paltan."
In a heartfelt note posted on her social media account, the actress bid farewell to her character, Katori Amma, which she described as the longest role of her career.
Sharing a series of pictures from the sets, Himani wrote, "A seven-year journey comes to an end! In my 35 years in the industry, my more than 200 films, 50 TV shows, and theatrical journey, Katori Amma of 'Happu Ki Ultan Paltan' will always hold a special place in my heart. It's the longest role I have played."
She added, "What made it special was the love of the audience. Wherever I went, people spoke of the dialogues from 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Naspeete', along with 'Hahk' and 'Hero No. 1'."
Thanking the makers of the show, she added, "I would like to thank the writers, especially Manoj Santoshi, the directors, and producers, for creating such a beautiful, multidimensional character! Thank you, audience, for the love you gave. I also want to thank my co-actors, the makeup artists, hairstylists, set designers, and spot boys... I will miss you all, especially my dogs on the set, whom I fed and loved."
