Mumbai, April 9. Besides being a talented actor and singer, the multifaceted Shruti Haasan also occasionally tries her hand at cooking.
Recently, the actress of "Saalar" once again decided to indulge her inner cook and prepared some delicious Ambur Biryani, along with Kathrika curry.
Sharing a photo of her latest culinary achievement on social media, Shruti wrote on her Instagram Stories, "Homemade Ambur Biryani and Kathrika curry... cooking is back (sic)."
In March, the actress of "Coolie" tried a fun snack recipe on her day off from filming.
For the recipe, Shruti added dates to vanilla Greek yoghurt and topped it with flaky salt and some olive oil.
She also revealed that for her, a day off means reading scripts, while taking breaks for doom-scrolling.
Sharing a video of making the appetizing snack with the netizens, Shruti wrote on her Instagram, "Day off means catching up on reading my script while taking breaks for doom scrolling - I tried this snack recipe and I'm so obsessed (red heart emojis) – dates – vanilla Greek yoghurt – flaky salt – olive oil = DELICIOUS."
Regarding her work commitments, Shruti will next be seen as the leading lady in "Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam," co-starring Prabhas.
The initial installment in the popular franchise, "Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire," was released in 2023.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film featured Prabhas in the titular role, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, John Vijay, Easwari Rao, Tinnu Anand, Devaraj, Brahmaji, and Mime Gopi in supporting roles.
Just like part 1, "Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam," is also being directed by Prashanth Neel and backed by the prestigious Hombale Films.
