POONCH, APRIL 06: ADC Poonch, Tahir Mustaf Malik, inspected the preparations for the upcoming Baisakhi festival at Shiromani Dera Santpura Nangali Sahib and held a meeting with the management committee to review the arrangements.
The ADC assured timely measures for security, drinking water, lighting, sanitation, parking, and road maintenance. Departments including JPDCL, Jal Shakti, Municipality, PWD, GREF, Health, Tourism, Agriculture, Horticulture, and AYUSH were directed to ensure smooth services, including repair of roads and streetlights, deployment of water tankers and ambulances, and awareness camps.
The preparations for the three-day religious Samagam from April 9 to 11 at Gurudwara Baithak Mahant Mohar Singh were also reviewed, with emphasis on uninterrupted power, water supply, sanitation, and security.
The ADC reaffirmed the administration's commitment to a safe, clean, and well-organized celebration for devotees.
