
New Delhi, April 1 Actor Priyanka Chopra praised "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" on Wednesday, calling director Aditya Dhar "a man with a mission" and the film "a revelation in every way".
Priyanka shared the film's poster on Instagram Stories and also gave a shout-out to Ranveer Singh, her co-star from films "Dil Dhadakne Do", "Gunday" and "Bajirao Mastani".
"Congratulations, my friend @ranveersingh," said the actor, who is currently in India. She also tagged other cast members – Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
"Aditya, you are a man with a mission. 'Dhurandhar' is a revelation in every way. Thank you all for your artistry," she wrote.
A sequel to Dhar's 2025 blockbuster "Dhurandhar", the film was released on March 19 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It stars Singh alongside R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
Set in the Lyari town of Karachi, an area known for its history of gang wars and violent turf battles, "Dhurandhar" revolved around covert intelligence operations against the backdrop of geopolitical and terror events like the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament Attack and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
The sequel charts the rise of Ranveer Singh's character Hamza Ali Mazari in the Karachi underworld while also delving into his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, tracing the journey of the young man who eventually transforms into a covert operative.
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.
