Lucknow, March 31 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, stating that the teachings of Lord Mahavir continue to guide humanity.
"Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all devotees and residents of the state on the sacred occasion of the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, Lord Mahavira," the CM posted on X in Hindi.
The teachings of Lord Mahavira, which illuminate the entire world with the eternal principles of truth, non-violence, and compassion, are immortal provisions for humanity," he added.
