February 22, New Delhi: The AI for Agri – Global Conference on AI in Agriculture and Investor Summit 2026 is taking place in Mumbai.

Rajesh Agarwal, Chief Secretary of the Government of Maharashtra, addressed the event and emphasized that next-generation technology will significantly improve governance and services for farmers in the state.

During the keynote session, Nandan Nilekani, Chairman and Co-founder of Infosys, stated that while much of the global discussion focuses on AI and super-intelligence, real impact will come from practical applications that improve everyday lives.
