
Artificial intelligence is playing a significant role in the agricultural sector by enhancing crop monitoring, improving farm-level decision-making, analyzing soil and weather data, and predicting yield patterns and pest outbreaks. The recently concluded India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi showcased how AI is rapidly transforming India's agricultural ecosystem. Nishtha Gorke, Communications Manager at Wadhwani AI, stated that her organization is a non-profit developing AI-driven solutions for social impact, particularly in the agricultural sector. She also discussed the products showcased by her team during the Expo. She further described the Summit as an encouraging initiative and a significant platform for showcasing various innovations, adding that it also offered meaningful opportunities to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders.
