
February 18, New Delhi: French President Emmanuel Macron and Union Health Minister JP Nadda inaugurated the Indo-French Centre for AI in Health at AIIMS New Delhi on Wednesday.
The centre is designed to promote AI-driven research, medical education, and clinical innovation, strengthening India-France collaboration in digital health and emerging technologies. It represents a key step in India’s vision of becoming a global leader in equitable, technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
At the event, President Macron highlighted the increasing presence of Indian students in France and encouraged more Indian youth to pursue higher education at French universities.
