
New Delhi, March 10 Aikyam Capital Group announced on Tuesday the first close of its Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), Aikyam Capital Investment Fund I, with investor commitments of ₹205 crore.
The fund, structured under Aikyam Capital Trust, has a target corpus of ₹300 crore, with a green shoe option of ₹100 crore, taking the potential total fund size to ₹400 crore, the company said in a release.
The fund is positioned as a private credit strategy, aimed at providing structured capital solutions to businesses while delivering stable, risk-adjusted returns for investors.
Aikyam Capital Investment Fund I is managed by Aikyam Capital Management LLP.
This is the second fund launched by Aikyam Capital Group within a year, following the launch of its Category I Special Situation Fund (SSF).
"With a target corpus of ₹300 crore and a green shoe option of ₹100 crore, the fund has the potential to scale up to ₹400 crore," said Venkatasubramaniam Maruthai, Fund Manager and CEO-Stressed Assets, Aikyam Capital Group.
