
Mumbai, April 7 Air India announced on Tuesday that its CEO & MD, Campbell Wilson, has resigned, and the airline has formed a committee to find his successor.
Wilson, who is from New Zealand, has been the CEO and Managing Director of the Tata Group-owned airline for four years.
"Wilson had informed Air India Chairman N Chandrasekaran of his intention to step down in 2026 in 2024, and since then, he has been working to ensure that the organization and leadership team are stable for the transition," the airline said in a statement.
Wilson will continue as CEO & MD until his successor is announced.
The Air India board has formed a committee that will find a successor in the coming months, the statement said.
