New Delhi, February 18 The Commission for Air Quality Management revoked Stage-II restrictions in the Delhi-NCR region on Wednesday after a marked improvement in air quality levels due to changing weather conditions, according to officials.

"The AQI in Delhi has improved due to favorable weather conditions, and was recorded at 214 at 4 pm today. Furthermore, the forecast from IMD/IITM indicates that the AQI is likely to remain in the poor or moderate category in the coming days," an official from the CAQM stated.

Stage I and II of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) have been in effect since October 14 and 19, respectively.

Light rain was observed in different parts of Delhi on Wednesday, with the minimum temperature settling at 15.8 degrees Celsius, 4.8 degrees above the season's average.
