March 08, New Delhi – Air raid sirens sounded across Israel early Sunday morning as the military reported intercepting missiles launched from Iran in at least two waves targeting Israeli territory.
Alerts were triggered in northern regions, including Haifa, prompting residents to seek shelter, and later in southern areas such as Beersheba and parts of the occupied West Bank. The Home Front Command subsequently lifted restrictions, declaring it safe to leave protected spaces nationwide.
Israeli air defenses successfully intercepted most of the incoming projectiles, and there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the latest barrage.
