
Mumbai, February 17 Dipendra Singh Airee smashed an unbeaten fifty as Nepal defeated Scotland by seven wickets in their Group C final match of the T20 World Cup here on Tuesday.
Airee scored 50 off 23 balls after Kushal Bhurtel scored 43 off 35 balls to help Nepal reach the target of 171 with four balls to spare.
Bowling first, Nepal restricted Scotland to 170 for 7 despite Michael Jones's 71 off 45 balls.
For Nepal, Sompal Kami (3/25) and Nandan Yadav (2/34) took three and two wickets respectively.
