Aizawl, March 27 At least two people were arrested with 351 grams of heroin in Tuirial, on the outskirts of Aizawl in Mizoram, the excise department said in a statement on Friday.
The operation took place late on Thursday, it said.
The drug was seized from a car, and the two accused have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the statement said.
They were produced before the district and sessions court in Aizawl on Friday, it added.
