The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra, visited forward areas in the Akhnoor sector to review operational preparedness along the Line of Control.
Accompanied by the GOC of the Crossed Swords Division, the senior Army officer interacted with troops deployed along the LoC and assessed measures undertaken to strengthen defenses and enhance operational effectiveness in the sensitive frontier region.
Senior officers briefed him on the prevailing security situation and strategies being implemented to maintain a robust security grid. The GOC commended the troops for their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment while operating in challenging terrain and weather conditions.
He emphasized the need for constant vigilance, the integration of modern technology with tactical preparedness, and sustained operational readiness to ensure a strong and secure frontier along the sensitive Line of Control.
