Mumbai, March 31 Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar shared that he often feels inferior when interacting with highly educated individuals.
While speaking with a highly educated contestant, Sonali, Akshay praised her education and stated that he sometimes feels small in the presence of those who have achieved great education and hold multiple degrees.
He said, "Anyone, including myself, who hasn't studied much, sometimes feels inferior when I'm around people like you."
He added, "Sometimes I think I should study. But now when I want to study, I can't, because I don't enjoy studying. It's just not for me."
He further mentioned that his wife, Twinkle Khanna, is a writer and has written several books. "My wife is a writer; she has written one, two, three, and even four books, and she is currently working on another."
He revealed that he has never read any book written by Twinkle. "You won't believe this, but I haven't read any of her books. Whenever I sit down to read, something happens, and I start crying."
This revelation came after Akshay Kumar introduced contestant Sonali by mentioning that she holds multiple academic degrees.
He asked her, "Are you taking degrees? What are you studying?"
To which Sonali replied, "Sir, it's because of these degrees that I have the opportunity to be here and meet you again."
Impressed by her achievements, he then asked Sonali, "Teacher, why do I feel like crying when I try to study?"
The superstar further emphasized the importance of education in life and stated that he always encourages his children to study as much as possible.
He also mentioned that Twinkle recently completed her Master's degree and is now planning to pursue a PhD.
He concluded with an important message, saying, "I just want to say that studying is very important. Don't follow people like me, follow people like Sonali."
