Amaravati, March 17 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the Akshaya Patra Foundation on Tuesday as the organization celebrated 25 years of service and achieved the milestone of serving five billion meals.

According to Naidu, by serving humanity and uplifting those in need, society moves closer to a better world. Akshaya Patra has been playing a vital role in supporting children through its meal programmes.

"I congratulate the Akshaya Patra Foundation on its remarkable milestone of 25 years and for achieving the five billion meals milestone at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the august presence of our President Droupadi Murmu," Naidu said in a post on X, replying to the President of India.

He highlighted that the organization has been a key partner in initiatives such as Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM POSHAN) and Anna Canteens in Andhra Pradesh, serving people from all sections of society.

The CM said such initiatives contribute significantly to improving nutrition and supporting education among children, particularly from underprivileged backgrounds.
