Hyderabad, March 19 – Telugu star Allu Arjun, who was among the first to watch the second part of director Aditya Dhar's highly anticipated action thriller 'Dhurandhar 2', has praised it, calling it an Indian story with an international flair.
In a post on his X timeline, Allu Arjun wrote about the second installment of the film, which is set to release on Thursday: "Just watched #Dhurandhar2. Patriotism with swag! A film that will make every patriot proud. Many memorable moments. FANTASTIC!"
He then congratulated the entire Dhurandhar team. He wrote, "Congratulations to the entire team. Excellent performances by @ActorMadhavan and all the actors. Technical brilliance. It's a great feeling to have such a talented and versatile actor as my brother @RanveerOfficial in our country. RVS is amazing."
The actor then praised director Aditya Dhar. He wrote, "@AdityaDharFilms garu, you've done a fantastic job. It's great to have such talented filmmakers in our country. Show Rocker. An Indian story… International swag! Jai Hind."
Actor Madhavan quickly responded to Allu Arjun's tweet. Thanking the Telugu star, Madhavan replied, saying, "I'm so humbled, touched, and highly motivated. This means a lot coming from you, my dear brother. I've watched all your films with complete admiration for your abilities. And it's fantastic to know how much we share. God bless you... and as this is the first online review, it's incredibly special to me at this pivotal point in my life."
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 is a spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun. The first part of the film was released in theaters on December 5 last year.
'Dhurandhar' is reportedly inspired by real-life events, focusing on geopolitical tensions and covert operations carried out by India's R&AW. It particularly highlights Operation Lyari, a crackdown by the Pakistani government targeting gangs and criminal networks in Karachi's Lyari area.
