
New Delhi, March 30 Aluminium prices rose by nearly 2.61 per cent to Rs 350 per kg in futures trading on Monday, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 8.90, or 2.61 per cent, to Rs 350 per kilogram in 48 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, drove up aluminium prices in the futures market.
