New Delhi, March 2 Aluminium prices rose by nearly 1.48 per cent to Rs 321.95 per kg on Monday in futures trading, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in April increased by Rs 4.70, or 1.48 per cent, to Rs 321.95 per kilogram in 141 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped to push up aluminium prices in the futures market.
