New Delhi, February 23 Aluminium prices rose by 0.39 per cent to Rs 312.50 per kg on Monday in futures trading, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased by Rs 1.20, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 312.50 per kilogram in 3,057 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped to push up aluminium prices in the futures market.
