
New Delhi, March 5 Aluminium prices rose by nearly 1.47 per cent to Rs 338.50 per kg in futures trading on Thursday, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in April increased by Rs 4.90, or 1.47 per cent, to Rs 338.50 per kilogram in 194 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, drove up aluminium prices in the futures market.
