New Delhi, February 24 Aluminium prices rose by nearly 0.1 per cent to Rs 312.05 per kg in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators built up new positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased by 30 paise, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 312.05 per kilogram in 3,807 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, boosted aluminium prices in the futures market.
