New Delhi, March 11 Aluminium prices rose by 1.14% to Rs 344.60 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium prices for delivery in April increased by Rs 3.90, or 1.14%, to Rs 344.60 per kilogram in 98 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped to push up aluminium prices in the futures market.
