
New Delhi, February 18 Aluminium prices rose by nearly 0.7 per cent to Rs 309.95 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased by Rs 2.15, or 0.7 per cent, to Rs 309.95 per kilogram in 180 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped to push up aluminium prices in the futures market.
