New Delhi, April 1 Aluminium prices fell by 80 paise to Rs 351.80 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, as participants reduced their positions due to a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May decreased by 80 paise, or 0.23 percent, to Rs 351.80 per kg in 168 lots.
Analysts said that the reduction in positions by participants, driven by easing demand from consuming industries, mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
