New Delhi, March 23 Aluminium prices fell by Rs 2.80 to Rs 327.80 per kg in futures trading on Monday as traders reduced their positions due to a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April decreased by Rs 2.80 or 0.85% to Rs 327.80 per kg in 264 lots.
Analysts said that the reduction in positions by traders, primarily due to easing demand from consuming industries, was the main reason for the lower aluminium prices.
