New Delhi, February 20 Aluminium prices fell by 35 paise to Rs 311.40 per kg in futures trading on Friday, as participants reduced their positions due to a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March declined by 35 paise or 0.11 percent to Rs 311.40 per kg in 375 lots.
Analysts said the reduction in positions by participants, mainly due to easing demand from consuming industries, kept aluminium prices lower.
