New Delhi, March 20 Aluminium prices rose by Rs 1.30 to Rs 333 per kg on Friday in futures trading, as speculators built up new positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in April increased by Rs 1.30, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 333 per kilogram in 456 lots.
Analysts said that the fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped to push up aluminium prices in the futures market.
