
New Delhi, April 7 Aluminium prices rose by nearly 0.69 per cent to Rs 355.75 per kg in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 2.45, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 355.75 per kilogram in 71 lots.
Analysts said that fresh positions created by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped to push up aluminium prices in the futures market.
