Beed, March 28 A 40-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of a residential building in Beed on Saturday, a police official said.
The incident occurred at 8 am in the Mandwa Road area of Ambajogai, he added.
"Vaishali Sunil Chikatkar (40) was living with her family in her rented apartment to facilitate the education of her two children. She jumped from the balcony on the third floor and died instantly. She was alone in the house at the time of the incident. Further investigation is underway," he said.
