Holi was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Kashmiri Pandit Colony in Vessu, Anantnag, with CRPF personnel joining residents in festivities marked by unity and harmony.

March 04, Srinagar: The festival of colors, Holi, was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Kashmiri Pandit Colony in the Vessu area of Anantnag district.

Members of the Kashmiri Pandit community gathered to observe the occasion with traditional rituals, music, and vibrant colors. Families, elders, and children participated in the celebrations.

Personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) also joined the festivities, celebrating alongside residents. Their presence reflected a sense of unity and camaraderie between security forces and the local community.

Speaking to DD News, community members expressed happiness over celebrating Holi peacefully. They said such occasions strengthen communal harmony and foster closer bonds among people.

The community also offered prayers for lasting peace, prosperity, and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.

The celebrations concluded with exchange of greetings and a shared message of hope and unity.
