Chennai, February 25 – One of India's top music directors, Anirudh, released the title and first look poster of director and actor Pari Elavazhagan's upcoming film, 'Anbe Diana', much to the delight of fans and film enthusiasts.
Anirudh posted on his social media accounts to release the title and the first look poster, writing: "Happy to release the FIRST LOOK of #AnbeDiana. My best wishes to the entire team @PariElavazaghan @RamyaRanganathn @bharathsankar12 @MillionOffl @Yuvrajganesan @NeoCastle."
Produced by Million Dollar Studios and Neo Castle Creations, 'Anbe Diana' not only stars Pari Elavazhagan as the director but also plays the lead role in the film. For those unfamiliar, Pari Elavazhagan is best known for directing and starring in the critically acclaimed Tamil film 'Jama'.
Ramya Ranganathan, who is best known for her work in the popular entertainer 'Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam', directed by actor Dhanush, also plays the lead role alongside Pari Elavazhagan in 'Anbe Diana'.
The first look poster features Pari Elavazhagan, dressed as a groom, with a frown on his face and a bloodied shirt standing next to Ramya Ranganathan, who is dressed as a bride. She is seen wearing a sweet smile and holding his arm. The couple is surrounded by their relatives who seem to be engaged in a heated discussion. It is evident that the film will be a humorous and romantic entertainer centered around the lead pair.
The film has generated significant interest for several reasons. The film is the seventh production of Million Dollar Studios, a production house that has only produced superhit films such as 'Good Night', 'Lover', and 'Tourist Family'.
Furthermore, this film marks the return of actress Roja to the big screen in Tamil cinema. Roja, after a long hiatus, is set to make a comeback in Tamil cinema with a full-length role in this film.
Sources close to the film's unit revealed that the shooting has recently been completed. The entire film was shot in the Perambur region of Chennai, they added, and pointed out that post-production work is progressing rapidly.
From a technical perspective, the film features music by Bharath Shankar, known for his work in 'Mandela' and 'Maaveeran', and cinematography by Shelly Calist, known for her work in 'Aruvi' and 'Sakthi Thirumagan'. Mahendran has handled the art direction for the film, and the editing is by Partha MA. The lyrics were written by Mohanrajan, Muthamizh, and Bhagyam Shankar.
