Trichy (Tamil Nadu), March 11 PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss urged the people of Tamil Nadu to vote out the DMK in the upcoming elections to ensure a change in government and end crimes against women and children.
He cited several reasons why the DMK should not be given a second term.
"In the last five years, there were approximately 8,752 murders in Tamil Nadu, which has the highest crime rate in India. Crimes against women and children have also increased alarmingly. As a father of three daughters, I urge you to defeat the DMK in the upcoming Assembly election and ensure the NDA rule under the leadership of AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, in order to end crimes against women and children," Anbumani said, addressing the NDA rally here.
He alleged that the DMK regime "imposed the TASMAC liquor culture," leading to an increase in per capita consumption. This, in turn, has had adverse health effects on individuals, as well as causing road accidents.
"Enough of the DMK's rule of drugs, narcotics, and liquor in the state. The younger generation will suffer if that party comes to power again," Ramadoss said in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
