Andhra Pradesh CM Pays Respects to Former DGP.webp

Amaravati, March 15 Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday condoled the death of former DGP of the united Andhra Pradesh, H.J. Dora.

Dora died in Hyderabad on Friday due to complications related to kidney disease. He was 82 years old.

The former DGP had been suffering from chronic kidney disease since 2020, and the disease progressed to end-stage renal disease in 2024.

"I paid my respects to the former DGP (Dora) and conveyed my heartfelt condolences to his family members in Hyderabad," an official release quoting Naidu said.

The chief minister visited Dora's residence in Hyderabad, placed a wreath on his portrait, and paid his respects.

Naidu recalled the contributions made by Dora in taking the Andhra Pradesh Police department to greater heights while serving in key responsibilities in the united state.
