State Minister for Rural Development, Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, reviewed the progress of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) in Andhra Pradesh today. In a social media post, Mr. Pemmasani stated that the meeting focused on strengthening the Self-Help Group (SHG) movement. He added that it will help expand sustainable livelihood and income generation opportunities and accelerate efforts to achieve the national target of six crore Lakhpati Didis, aimed at empowering rural women as pillars of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
