
The Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu open recruitment rally at Acharya Nagarjuna University in the Guntur District saw a strong turnout of candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana today. Speaking to the media, Group Captain Naveen Kumar Chabba, President of the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB), New Delhi, stated that the rally provides a valuable opportunity for young people to join the Indian Air Force. He thanked the state government, district administration, university authorities, and the police for their support in organizing the event.
Wing Commander Sheikh Yaqub Ali, the Air Force Recruiting Officer in Hyderabad, said that eligible candidates could directly participate in the rally without online registration. Approximately 7,000 male candidates from Andhra Pradesh attended the recruitment drive today, while nearly 1,000 women from both Telugu states also participated. The selection process includes a 1.6-km run, physical tests, and a written examination.
