
KISHTWAR, MARCH 31: Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma chaired a district-level coordination meeting to review anti-drug initiatives and progress under the "Nasha Mukt Bharat" campaign.
The DC assessed vulnerable areas, enforcement measures, and the implementation of the IEC campaign, directing SDMs and Tehsildars to expedite "Nasha Mukt" Panchayat declarations and to appoint volunteers as community mobilizers.
He also sought active support from religious organizations, including Sanatan Dharma Sabha and Majlis-e-Shoura Committee, to nominate volunteers for grassroots anti-drug efforts.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the police, health, excise, transport, and other departments.
