March 13, New Delhi – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated on Friday that American negotiators rejected Iran’s proposal to ensure “no nuclear weapons” because they did not understand its technical details.
In a social media post on X, Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran had suggested mechanisms to guarantee the absence of nuclear weapons, but the idea was dismissed because the US counterparts “did not grasp the technical details.”
He also countered claims that the United States could economically benefit from rising energy prices caused by the conflict, saying that the increase in oil prices and tariffs would not benefit ordinary Americans.
